The Other Football

In Canada cities, where gridiron football is king, the pitches are big: often because they’re played on fields where touch line is wider than the football sideline. The aesthetics are horrendous, especially with the yellow uprights hanging over the posts.

Three “Nets”

Low ceiling indoor pitch…hence, another net covering the ceiling. Hit the net (above the pitch) and the ball is still in-play. Hit the beams above the net and it’s a free kick. (I’m told these were saved from the NASL Indoor league.)
